Ecommerce study: online purchasing habits and digital maturity

One of the main phenomena that currently affects commerce of proximity is the competition of ecommerce that undoubtedly reduces market share to urban commerce of proximity. On the other hand, the impact on mobility and the environment that is the result of the displacements it generates is evidence.
 
However, despite being a major aspect that affects the day to day business and city streets, today is unknown the impact it is.

To this end, the ecommerce study tries to answer the following questions: What are your online shopping habits for citizens? What digital maturity does local business have? What impact does it have on mobility? What market share is e-commerce about the total and how does it affect the urban fabric of Rubí?

Methodologically, this e-commerce study breaks down in the following way:

- Study of online shopping habits

- Analysis of the degree of digital maturity and index of digital transformation of local commerce

- Study of affectation of ecommerce in mobility

Finally, the result of this study is a specific action plan to deal with the casuistry of e-commerce and its rapid penetration into consumer habits of citizens.
