Street markets are an instrument of economic and commercial dynamism of great value in the urban fabric. Their presence contributes to give dynamism in the territories, to create employment and they become a point of social encounter of great importance in which contexts.
On the other hand, within the framework of the Trade Agenda 21 promoted by the Consortium of Trade, Crafts and Fashion of the Generalitat de Catalunya (CCAM), the need was established to promote policies aimed at the modernization and innovation of merchants. non-sedentary for sale; given its status as an essential piece of commercial dynamism in many municipalities.
A possible loss of competitive advantage therefore requires to be offset by a series of actions that enhance the economic and social function of these outdoor commercial events.
For this reason, the CCAM has commissioned us to benchmark different mobile markets at an international level that have elements of innovation and competitiveness that can be transfered.
The work, then, focuses on an analysis of different markets in the world and an immersion in their mechanisms of functionality and improvement.
For this reason we focus on:
- Search for different street markets in the world.
- Prospecting of elements that contribute innovation, singularity and generation of value.
- Argumentation with references that support its innovative market position.
