Urban commerce strategic plan
Carrying out a study to improve the urban commercial fabric of the municipality
This study aims to have a detailed knowledge of the current commercial reality, of the capacities, shortcomings, challenges and opportunities of the local commerce of Esplugues de Llobregat. The recent appearance of the Finestrelles shopping center and all the existing competition (commercial center Splau, the proximity to the city of Barcelona, department stores, e-commerce) propose a reflection on what strategic orientation must follow the commerce of this municipality.
To carry out this work, we will depart from a methodological process that we have contrasted in other studies and strategic plans. In this sense, in order to make coherent prophets, first, an exhaustive analysis of reality will be carried out. More concretely, it will be carried out:
Survey of purchase habits through the CATI system
Commercial climate survey
Socio-demographic analysis and data exploitation through GIS
Interviews with agents of the territory
Next the relevant strategy will be carried out. This will be structured in strategic areas, objectives, actions and actions. All in all, duly timed and with tracking indicators to contrast their effectiveness.
